frinnstyeah. feel free to add me to both08:40
Romsteri emailed tek about a few bugs and a feature request and the only one that gut fixed was a version bump to llvm with a non empty header file that is empty by the majority of users that got fixed.08:42

juejaeger: thanks a lot for the timeline fix, you are my hero :)13:03
jaegerjue: welcome. :) The git breakage was my fault but the wiki and flyspray breakage was due to changes in the php sqlite support13:54
jaegerRomster: I don't think llvm has been fixed yet, I don't see the VCS define in its Pkgfile14:02
john_cephalopodaDoes anybody except for tek have wiki admin access?14:36
frinnstyes but not really14:43
frinnstI havent really looked at how the user stuff works14:44
john_cephalopodaHmm, I wonder if the wiki could be made into a git repo, just like github wiki works. People would send a public key to the wiki admin, they would unlock that key for the git repo push access.14:45
john_cephalopodaWiki pages would be markdown-powered.14:46
john_cephalopodaThat would have several advantages: Easy adding of users with standard methods, no database needed for the wiki, and the wiki could easily be pulled, so when you got a crux installation with internet access and git, you can download the whole wiki and read it locally.14:47
pedjaI converted part of the wiki to mkdocs a while back, as an experiment. works fine14:59
pedjabut that's not really a wiki, more of a document, readthedocs style15:04
john_cephalopodaThe wiki right now is just a list of available articles.15:04
john_cephalopodaAnd the wiki aspect could be added to the mkdocs system by putting all the files into a git repo and regenerating the site with a git hook.15:06
john_cephalopodaThere is about one contribution to the wiki per month, so that approach would be viable imo.15:09
john_cephalopodaAlso markdown is pretty widespread and can be used in many wiki and documentation systems - like github wiki.15:10
pedjathere is a bunch of static site generators (I've been playing with hugo), but they are blog or something similar oriented, afaict15:15
john_cephalopodaThere is also org-mode markup, which is a single standard and doesn't have its own dialect on every system. But it's not that widespread.15:22
pedjapandoc can convert html to markdown directly, but apparently Crux wiki pages aren't UTF-8 :)15:34
john_cephalopodaWould make sense to convert them then.15:35
john_cephalopodaI'd really like to add some documentation about setting up ALSA to the wiki.15:36
john_cephalopodaI usually end up with the wrong sound card as hw:0, which is then selected by default. And it takes some time to figure out how exactly dmix and the alsa config worked again.15:37
pedjaI just use PA15:37
john_cephalopodaNot a fan of PA. Messes up my audio setup.15:40
