Romsterjust going to
jaegerIt's not SSL03:42
Romsteryeah but it's enforced see the problem i change it to http and it gets changed back to https03:43
jaegerIt's not enforced on the server, if that's happening it's something on your end03:43
Romsteri am only using firefox....03:43
jaegerAny proxy in the way, perhaps? I'm not being redirected03:44
Romsterah i do use foxyproxy03:45
Romsterand i just checked it with curl -s and it does indeed work03:45
Romsterturned it off and no fix. bah i'll look that later.03:46
jaegerMay be cached03:46
Romstersee i do shift refresh and it's tricky because it's already https and not http. might have to dump all my cache03:47
jaegeryeah, that would be annoying03:48
Romsteri've never had this issue before.03:48
jaegerDunno, it was just a guess03:49
Romsteralso looking at the iso sizes 555mb and now 777mb it's so getting larger.03:49
Romsterthanks for helping03:49
Romsterat least i know it's me and not the server.03:49
jaegerNo problem03:50

Phonesterdid we put exfat-utils on the iso?05:36
Phonesterwent out to enjoy the day and looking over the logs commits05:36
Phonesternot mentioned on the changes but it got recently put in opt05:37
jaegerhrmm, I don't think we did. Were we going to?05:38
Phonesteris that just for exfat support and not for fat32 right?05:38
jaegeryes, not related05:39
jaegerand dosfsutils is on the ISO for fat3205:39
Phonesterif so it's not needed in the iso. but if that does fat32 and we need a uefi fat32 boot partition.05:39
Phonesterah phew all good then.05:40
Phonesteri haven't had the need for uefi yet but i was just thinking about that.05:40
jaegeruefi has worked for several releases05:40
jaegersince 2.8 or maybe 3.0? I don't recall exactly05:41
PhonesterI've been using excrux at work on a usb flash stick and all my devices at home have non-efi motherboards05:42
Phonesteri am a bit behind05:42
jaegergood time to catch up with a new release, if you find the time :)05:44
PhonesterI've already upgraded 1 pc from test1. i have another 6 or so to do.05:47
jaegerShould be pretty painless05:48

Romsterwell i had to use nvidia-sl for xorg-server 1.20.x10:14
Romsterand why is the nvidia-sl-32 not at the same version?10:14

frinnstpkgadd: listed file(s) already installed (use -f to ignore and overwrite)11:31
frinnsthmm, wonder what installs that outside of ports?11:31
Romsterprt-get fsearch pinentry-fltk11:32
Romsternothing listed here11:32
frinnstNEW       -rwxr-xr-x      root/root       usr/bin/pinentry-fltk11:34
frinnst=======> Building '/usr/ports/pkg/pinentry#1.1.0-1.pkg.tar.xz' succeeded.11:34
frinnstbut not sure how a non-ports-tracked /usr/bin/pinentry-fltk ended up on my fs11:34
john_cephalopodaMaybe try prtorphan?11:45
Romsteruse fakeroot to be sure that don't ever happen.11:55
Romsteralso i got a romster/pkg-not script to scan for non-tracked files11:55
*** noboru has quit IRC12:14
frinnstI do use fakeroot12:37
frinnstusually atleaSt12:38
frinnstmakecommand      fakeroot pkgmk12:38
frinnstso, confused12:38

RomsterX Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)13:46
Romster  Major opcode of failed request:  153 (GLX)13:46
Romster  Minor opcode of failed request:  3 (X_GLXCreateContext)13:46
Romsternope so the nvidia-sl-32 isn't gonna cut it darn.13:46
Romsterok i don't know what happend to but the rest of the files are there and nvidia-ls-32 is now working for me.14:06
jaegerRomster: nvidia-sl-32 is behind because it didn't exist on their servers at the time14:19
Romsteri looked at arch and noticed they keep a 32/ bit directory in it so i updated it as best as i could but no idea why is missing in that 32/ bit directory. but that update i pushed does now work for me.14:21
Romsteri got red alert 2 in origin on wine running which is 32bit14:22
Romsterhmmm but steam is coming up with invalid certificates14:22
jaegeroh, you mean that nvidia has moved stuff into a '32' dir, not arch14:24
Romsterwell i checked with archlinux and noticed they used a 32 directory then i went and looked at out nvidia-sl-32;a=commitdiff;h=1b41715185a8f227c47f133521fca6e3f0fca4a414:26
jaegeryeah, I already looked at the port, didn't understand what you were saying at first14:26
Romsternow for steam i added a symlink /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt -> ../cert.pem14:27
Romsterand that fixed steam but i still have that symlink but something is off.14:27
Romstersorry it's like half past midnight14:27
Romsteri'll look at the certificate issue with steam on wine later14:32
jaeger <-- this is the only place I can find mention of 32-bit changes, kinda weird14:33
jaegerBut that does explain it, they're no longer making the 32-bit release packages14:33
Romsterdoesn't quite imply it's bundled in the same package though.14:34
*** Workster has quit IRC14:34
Romsterbut i got the idea to look when i had a look at what version archlinux was on.14:35
*** Workster has joined #crux-devel14:35
Romsterfeel free to cleanup improve on it if you wish. it's working as is.14:36
jaegerI'll remove the extra lines at the next update, if it works for now it's fine14:36
Romsteri'm gonna get to sleep.14:36
jaegertake care14:37
Romsteri thaught it might be a temp fix until they release a new run file. so i kept the commented out lines14:37
jaegermakes sense14:37

frinnstnot sure if thats after reinstalling sysvinit or whatnot18:35

frinnsthmm, another problem with /run/initctl is during single runlevel. /run doesnt get mounted - it needs to be mounted manually to reboot etc23:06
