wahbenhello Cruxies20:08
wahbenI was using Crux linux a while back, eventually switched to Ubuntu. Now I'm thinking switching back to Crux, but I am wondering what's the status on the project.. would you say it's quite active? Frequent contributors?20:09
wahbenalso I develop in python, but I need both Python 2.7 and Python 3, this works pretty transparently on Ubuntu, is this easy to setup on Crux?20:10
jaegerPretty active. Small team of course but active. I haven't set up both myself but I'd imagine they can coexist nicely. If not with the package system then at least with altinstall20:11
wahbenjaeger: alright. I don't mind a small team, I would be willing to contribute as well, I just need to make sure I can use crux as a development platform. well I might give it a try this weekend.20:13
jaegerShould be fine for that, unless you have some obscure requirements, I think20:13
jaegerIf you're not sure, try it in a VM first so you don't have to reinstall and reinstall, etc.20:13
wahbenhave you personally tested crux with newest kernel.. like 3.10?20:14
jaegeryes, I've run 3.10 and 3.1120:15
wahbenah cool :)20:15
