aastas521Hey, i've been having trouble compiling some packages, whenever a package uses xsltproc, for some reason it inserts a --nonet arguement, which then leads the the packaging failing because it can't get documentation. Anyone know why this happens (The package i'm trying to compile currently is bubblewrap, but i've seen it happen on other packages)01:44

Romsteri dunno someone will answer that when they read this11:34

*** onodera has quit IRC11:45
Romsterdoubt it since xz is better?11:46
pedjabut a lot of source tarballs still use bz211:47
TimB_and that ^11:48
pedjazstd is better then xz, btw :)11:49
pedjainteresting. some yt videos will only play in 480p when yt detects that the browser supports av1, but ffmpeg has no support for it.11:53
pedjawhen I disable av1 support in ff, yt falls back to x26411:54

TimB_sunday commitday12:26
Romsteruh pedja so what do i need to do to support that?12:29
john_cephalopodapedja: When you use youtube-dl (standalone or as backend for mpv), you can choose the version you want to download.12:29
pedjaav1 decoder?12:30
cruxbot[compat-32.git/3.5]: [notify] networkmanager-32: dropped use libnm-32 for steam-native-runtime12:30
pedjabuild deps are nasm and meson, runtime deps vulkan, libplacebo and shaderc12:31
pedjathen rebuild ffmpeg-4.2+, and voila :)12:32
Romsterit can't use yasm?12:32
Romsteri see12:32
pedjatbh, I haven't tried with yasm12:33
pedjaso, maybe?12:33
pedjait has some sse*/avx* optimized code, afaik, hence the need for nasm12:34
Romsteri'll test it later12:34
Romsterwell nasm is in core and yasm is a rewrite of nasm12:35
pedjathere is a playlist with av1 videos somewhere in the dav1d gitlab issues12:35
pedjafor testing etc12:36
Romsterneat i'll take a look, building llvm-32 atm12:37
pedjaI wouldn't bother with 8.0.1 with 9.0.0 release at the end of the month12:40

deep42thoughtRomster: there is a typo in the Pkgfile of python3-cssselect: it should be ${name:8:1} in the source, not ${name:7:1}19:21
deep42thoughtTimB_: I beleave, chrpath should be moved to opt, too - it's needed in suitesparse's build19:46
