xckoanyone running dns over tls? I only want to do it for localhost right now, I'm curious if you use unbound or stubby or something else05:37
jaegerNot I05:45
xckoI'm guessing it might be annoying dealing with captive portals on random wifi networks as unbound would need to be stopped and started manually, but I'm not sure how else to do it.06:02

SiFuhSeriously there has to be a better way to get HDMI audio working. (Nvidia). So far the only solution that I have found that works is as ugly as sin.

SiFuhfrinnst: Seems to be a very old issue. I found many examples of i8042.* at commandline. Some use .nopnp some use .reset, i saw a kbddummy or something as well.  None worked but the .nomux hasn't failed yet and it has been more than 24hours and I have rebooted a lot for testing different kernals over that time14:19

TimB_ dlcusa: stay out of prison as well! ;)19:10
dlcusaThat is one of the objectives.19:10
joacimgoing to prison isnt too bad. free food, free place to stay, and nobody expects you to do any real work19:16

stenur..can't find it now, but on some german radion station there was an impressive and hm disturbing radio play like thing, some years ago.20:22
stenurArt coming out of the Attica prison riot at the beginning of the 70s.20:23
stenurFrederic Rzewski wrote music, over text of one inmate Sam Melville.  ""Attica", is set to a statement ... "Attica is in front of me now"".20:24
stenurI think the combination of age and the greater coming together is responsible for the speed of the passing time. it's six months now and i can tell you truthfully few periods in my life have passed so quickly. i20:25
stenurAs lovers will contrast their emotions in times of crisis, so am i dealing with my environment. in the indifferent brutality, incessant noise, the experimental chemistry of food, the ravings of lost hysterical men, i can act with clarity and meaning. i am deliberate--sometimes even calculating--seldom employing histrionics except as a test of the reactions of others. i read much, exercise, talk to guards and20:25
stenurinmates, feeling for the inevitable direction of my life.20:25
pedja_hpminiTim Robbins visited prison, as part of preparations for Shawshank20:26
stenurThis was presented live on stage, translated to german .. "Das Schreien wahnsinnig gewordener Männer".20:26
stenurSam Melville died in the riot.  Ah, sorry.  Haven't seen this film yet.20:28
stenurHm. That rape scene reminds me of Haileys "THe Moneychangers" book from the seventies. Also disturbing.20:30
pedja_hpminihave you watched Oz?20:31
pedja_hpminihbo tv series, late 90's20:31
stenurThere was also a film with Tom Selleck, but he murdered the soon-will-rape one before he could.  No, no.  Not watching much.  No. At that time i did not even have had a TV. :)20:32
pedja_hpminiit's brutal, not a very pleasant watch :) unsurprising, since it's set in max security prison.20:34
pedja_hpminisome say it paved the way for Sopranos20:36
stenurMy friends and i watched too much videos when we just were about of getting adult.  Alex's father could get one of these multiple-meter-screen projectors, and we were watching the entire video store on a apartment wall-wide screen.20:37
stenurThe sopranos i have seen a few episodes of indeed. They were receivable for the public here, in non-private TV.20:38
stenurtoo many videos make much impression. ;)20:39
pedja_hpminiI was skeptical about the sopranos at first. I mean, how interesting can a story about mobster and his family be?20:40
pedja_hpminivery, as it turns out :)20:41
stenurYah, .. yah. He was very much pressing. When was that, shortly after Y2K? Yes. I have watched all Godfather films and was kind of thrilled.  But that was a series.20:45
stenurDisclaimer: we have soldiers and policemen in the family. ;)20:45
stenurAlso the IronMan actor was in prison. I did not watch the films and did not have a high meaning of him in the 90s, when i must have watched some films where he played.20:48
stenurBut that saying of him, "you just won't" (whatever) "come out of the prison and act the same" came from his very deep within.20:49
pedja_hpminicasting him as Iron Man took some balls, and now people can't imagine anyone else playing him20:51
pedja_hpminihe might be <SPOILERS> zhregr sbe tbbq </SPOILERS>, thou20:57

dlcusaThat is one of the objectives.21:59
dlcusaTimB, they've introduced a new prob before the qmake-qt5 tests: "checking whether to build the PostgreSQL SDBC driver" now is true and does not end well.  I need to take a break...22:01
dlcusaYou could start to wonder if a certain office productivity suite enterprise has a mole in...  Naw, that couldn't be true.22:04
stenurIn Bulgarian the first is an animal that is almost extinct in Germany, as far as i know.  Other than that i say good night :)22:07
TimB_dlcusa: but why does it build everywhere else but on your host? i feel like there is something else playing bad in the background22:10
dlcusaI think I was joking.22:11
TimB_it's a funny thought, sure ;)22:12
dlcusaTimB, I hope to be able to answer that very soon (as opposed to not very soon).22:12
TimB_i keep my thumbs pressed :) i am currently wrestling with my rpi322:12
